Accomplished Haida weaver and regalia maker Debbie McLavey teaches Northwest Coast art and culture to learners of all ages through KIC’s Tribal Scholars, apprenticeships, dance groups, classes and workshops. Students in this class will learn to create a pair of custom leather high-top moccasins that can be personalized in a variety of ways using beadwork, weaving, buttons, wool, or fur. This class counts toward a Certificate of Merit in Regalia.
