Skin Sewing with Louise Kadinger

Learn to sew skins!

Sealaska Heritage, in partnership with Ketchikan Indian Community (KIC), will sponsor an in-person, hand skin-sewing workshop in Ketchikan with teacher Louise Kadinger from Nov. 3-6 Thursday & Friday 5-8:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 5:30 pmSpace is limited.

ELIGIBILITY
In accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act, use of sea otter hide is limited to those with 1/4 Alaska Native blood quantum or greater and with a copy of their Certificate of Indian Blood issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs or Tribal I.D. card issued by a federally recognized Alaska Native Tribe.
