Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Magsayawan Ketchikan Performs!

See Magsayawan Ketchikan perform during the Celebration of the Sea Blessing of the Fleet! Magsayawan dancers along with other community dance groups will open the Blessing.
OPENING "Hikes of Ketchikan Through the Eye of an Artist" - a solo exhibt by Gabriele Beyer

Join artist Gabriele Beyer for the Opening of her first Main Street Gallery exhibit! Her colorful solo exhibit explores impressions from local hiking trails around Ketchikan. The exhibit runs May 2 through May 30th.
Celebration of the Sea Art Walk

Start off the summer with a bang at the Celebraiton fo the Sea Art Walk. Downtown arts businesses go all out for this season opening art walk showcasing artists stunning works! PLUS the Blessing of the Fleet kicks off at 5pm on Berth 2. This year Magsayawan Ketchikan and other dance groups start the event right at 5pm.
