Ketchikan City Council and Mayor Candidate Forum - Ketchikan Nonprofit Collaborative
Please join us at the public library for what we hope is an enlightening conversations with future leaders of our community.
The Forum will not be broadcast live, but will be recorded and posted on social media for the community to view.
The Ketchikan Nonprofit Collaborative is a group of local nonprofit leaders gathered together to advocate and support local nonprofits in the Ketchikan Area. One of the ways they accomplish this is through Municipal Candidate Forums focused on the Candidate's understanding and support of the critical infrastructure nonprofits provide for our community.

East Coast Swing Lessons and Dance:
Wednesday September 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
5:50 pm Doors open
6:00 - 6:40 Lesson Swing One
6:40 - 7:30ish we Dance - all levels
Class will progress each week through the month. Catch class on September 4th to get your swing basics which is a pre-req for any class the rest of the month. The following weeks will cover new material. Get your basics on Sept 4 or a previous BOOMbal swing basics class.
Class is followed by a dance for all levels.

In September, all class fees will be donated to families who have experienced loss in the landslide
No experience needed to start on September 4th. Prereq for following weeks is that Sept 4 basics class.
Come solo or with your friends! At least 80% of people come solo, so don't feel weird, come and make new friends. It's an extraordinarily friendly and inclusive scene!
Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Stomp the Stigma is dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding seeking help and treatment for those who are living with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
