Ketchikan Community Concert Band rehearsal
Dust off those instruments in the closet!!! Nothing is more enjoyable that rehearsing with the amazing group of people that comprise the Ketchikan Community Concert Band!!!
Rehearsals are every Monday from 7pm to 8:30pm at the First Assembly Church of God. The winter performance is Sunday, December 22nd at 3:00pm.

Sam Pitcher Memorial Concert
The Sam Pitcher Memorial Concert features Ketchikan's young musicians. Proceeds from the performance support the Sam Pitcher Memorial Scholarship Fund which gives scholarships to young musicians to attend summer music camp.
Tickets are by donation.

Fall rehearsals are in preparation for KCC's annual Winter concert!! The Winter Concerts will be December 4th, 2024 at 7pm, and December 7th, 2024 at 3pm

Arts Report on KRBD
Each week at approximately 8:20 am KRBD hosts the Ketchikan Area Arts and Humanities Council for their weekly report on arts and humanities in Ketchikan and the surrounding area. Get a synopsis of the local music scene, performances, Gallery exhibits, pop-ups, and Calls to artists. The Arts Report often features special guests from the Ketchikan Theatre Ballet, Artists, and Curators. Tune in weekly to KRBD 105.3 FM Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Saxman, 107.1 FM North Ketchikan, Ward Cove, and Ketchikan, 101.7: Craig, 90.7: North Point Higgins, 90.1: Mountain Point, Hydaburg, Klawock, and Thorne Bay.

Unlocking the Wisdom of an Ancient Canoe - Museum Midday
Join Stormy Hamar and Stephanie Hamar from the Haida Canoe Revitalization Group as they share about their project documenting an ancient canoe in the forest and how that process relates to Haida canoe making today. This project was made possible with funding from the State of Alaska's Historic Preservation Office NPS Maritime Heritage Preservation Grant.

Arts in the Cove: 10th Annual Holiday Bazaar
The 10th Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held at Howard Valentine School Gym in Coffman Cove, AK!
Start your holiday shopping early! There will be Fine Arts, Crafts, Holiday Gifts, Culinary Products and a hands on craft area for all ages! Don't forget to impress the judges in the ugly sweater contest! Plus there is a rumor that Santa is supposed to be visiting at noon... Please come out and join the fun!
