Museum Midday with Alma Manabat Parker: Sama Sama Tayo sa Kalusugan – Healthier Together
Alma Manabat Parker, the Health Equity Program Coordinator & Director of Operations for Ketchikan Wellness Coalition, will share about their Sama Sama Tayo sa Kalusugan - Healthier Together program. Health equity and providing access to healthcare and services for our Filipino community goes hand in hand with celebrating cultural heritage in Ketchikan, through advocacy and education! Alma will reflect back on last year’s Fil-Am festival, discuss what this year may bring, and share the impact that bringing community together has on everyone who lives here.
Not able to attend in person? By popular request we will also be simultaneously streaming this event on the Tongass Historical Museum Facebook if you want to view and participate from a distance. As with all of our Museum Midday programs, a recording will be available after the event on the Ketchikan Museums’ YouTube channel.
