CALL FOR ARTWORK
The Alutiiq Museum seeks to purchase contemporary works of visual art for its permanent collection with the support of the Alaska Art Fund. Living Alaskan artists are invited to propose works made within the past five years or to propose the commission of a future work. Specifically, we seek pieces that:

Reflect the identity and experiences of contemporary Alutiiq people; or

Reflect the historic forces that have shaped the Alutiiq community (e.g., blood quantum law, education, epidemics, land claims, medical care, natural resources management, politics, repatriation, etc.).

Each artist may submit up to five entries for consideration. We are looking for works that can be shared in the museum's renovated facilities and redesigned exhibits.
