Community Conversation
A Conversation Led by the Alaska Humanities Forum at the Ted Ferry Civic Center! A conversation to discuss the Foster Care situation in Ketchikan. This is a project in collaboration with the Ketchikan Indian Community and the Alaska Humanities Forum, in association with artist Carmel Anderson's exhibit at the Main Street Gallery "Foster Love, Foster Care". The Community Conversation hopes to answer the leading question, "How can we ensure that all our children thrive, including and especially our most vulnerable?”
The conversation will open with a short performance staged by Keith Smith.
All community members are encouraged to attend, to share stories and ideas, meet advocates, gain insight, ask questions, and learn more about Foster Care in Ketchikan. Free and open to all!
preregistration is appreciated but not required. RSVP at www.kictribe.info/fosterlovefostercare
