Sustaining Community: How We Gather & Why It Matters explores the ways and reasons we gather to the ways we develop a sense of identity and meaning from those interactions with people and place. Interviews, images, and objects tell a story across time of our enduring lifestyle and community pride.

Please join the Tongass Historical Museum in the celebration of community in this featured exhibition opening Friday, March 4 from 5-7:00 p.m. Ketchikan-themed snack boxes will be available for the first 100 visitors to take home and enjoy.
