Programs and Events include:
Gallery Exhibits- every month features a new display by a variety of artists and curators working in a wide range of mediums, group and solo shows, open call exhibits, and featuring both emerging and established artists. 2011-2012 MAIN STREET GALLERY SEASON
First Friday Opening Receptions- each exhibit starts on the first Friday of the exhibiting month with a free opening reception from 5-7pm. Enjoy new art, refreshments, and meet the artists!
Gallery Presentations- exhibiting artists and curators give a public presentation every month at the Main Street Gallery- enjoy slideshows, gallery tours, workshops, demonstrations, and more!
Annual Artist Development Workshops-
In 2011, we’ll be focusing on getting your artwork online. We’ll cover the basics of online portfolios, several ways you can get your work up online independently as well as using marketplaces and application systems such as Etsy, CaFE, the Art Lives Here online registry for Ketchikan, and more! Plus, digitally photographing your artwork! We’ll also have a final chance to share your progress both to your peer artists and to local gallery owners in an evening celebration!
