The Arts Council strongly believes that bringing musicians and performers to Ketchikan is vital to providing our community access to professional artists and new styles and types of performances. The Arts Council will be presenting fewer performances this season in order to offer more outreach activities. It is our priority to provide further opportunities for our community to experience and learn from touring professional groups visiting Ketchikan. Make sure you are on our email list or follow us on Facebook to get details on dance classes, jam sessions, drum circles, song-writing workshops, and more!
The Arts Council would like to work with community members who want to bring artists to town—musicians, dancers, writers, poets, or anything that you feel would contribute to our vibrant arts community. The Arts Council will work to support our community presenters with marketing, ticket selling, contracts, volunteers, and possible financial support.
