Wrangell is looking for a featured artist for their next Stikine River Birding Festival, April 22nd-28th, 2013.  The visual artist should be one who works with birds and/or natural history and is willing to work with youth in local schools, preset adult workshops, and also bringing pieces to be displayed in an exhibit.  Transportation, lodging, and an artist’s fee of $1,000 will be provided.  If interested, please contact Corree Delabrue (csdelabrue@fs.fed.us) at the Wrangell Ranger District at 907-874-7563 by September 24th, 2012.  More information on the festival can be found at http://www.wrangell.com/birdingfestival.
