Community Connections, SAIL, Ketchikan School District, and the Arts Council are teaming up to create a gallery show envisioned as a forum to discuss the experience of living with disability in Southern Southeast Alaska communities. Artwork from people with disabilities, their families and caregivers, and others impacted by disability will serve as a catalyst for understanding and valuing diversity in our society. Artwork in any medium is welcome, up to two entries per person. Please make sure your pieces are ready to hang, or for three-dimensional pieces, ready for display.

Deadline for entries is Tuesday, February 22 at the Main Street Gallery. (We’re closed on Monday!)
This exhibit will be on display from March 4 through March 25, 2011.
