Silent Voices is an open-call exhibit of anonymous postcards curated by the Silent Voices Committee.

Submissions due February 14, 2018, 5:00 pm, Main Street Gallery

Each postcard tells a secret, sheds a burden, acknowledges pain, pride, and embarrassment, allowing us to take control, and move past the secrets that weigh us down. By sharing those secrets we can connect with each other on a deeper level. We all struggle, we all hold things back from the world and we all deserve to let go of those burdens.

By creating a safe and anonymous space for the Ketchikan community to share thoughts, we hope to encourage people from all walks of life, socioeconomic classes, ethnicity, and gender identities to contribute to this collaborative art project.

Be part of the project!
Write your secret on a standard postcard and mail it in.
OR
Use the healing powers of art and create with collage, assemblage, or mixed media that expresses your feelings, fears or joys and mail or drop it off at the Main Street Gallery.

Digital submissions should have high enough resolution to be printed at least 5 x 7 inches.

We encourage hard-copy submissions to postcard-size, however no submissions should be larger than 8.5 x 11 inches.

Digital submissions can be emailed to: Ketchikan.Silent.Voices@gmail.com
Hard-copy submissions can be dropped off or mailed to:
